Pete the Planner

Peter Dunn a.k.a. Pete the Planner is an award-winning comedian and an award-winning financial mind. He’s the author of ten books, six of which were featured in a nationwide launch at Barnes & Nobles stores in January of 2015. He is the host of the popular radio show The Pete the Planner Show on 93 WIBC FM and is a columnist for the Indy Star. Andy Beningo

Andy Beningo, named “Best Comedian” by the Detroit Metro Times, is a regular guest on the nationally syndicated Bob and Tom Radio Show. He has been heard on XM Sirius Radio and over seas on the American Forces Network. He was a final four finalist on CMT’s ‘Next Big Comic,’ and has appeared on the NBC affiliate show, ‘Night Shift with Kevin Ferguson.’ He performed at Gilda’s Laugh Festival in Grand Rapids, MI, where he was the warm up act for Betty White. Other festival appearances include the Detroit Comedy Festival,  the Great American Comedy Festival at the Johnny Carson Theater, and the Clean Comedy Festival- where he won awards for being “audience favorite” and “Best New Comer” to the festival. He has also appeared on the Comedy Time Network, on Comcast Cable and on MavTV. He became a favorite on Rooftop Comedy,where his material was highlighted on three different series, including Comedy Cut Outs- an animated series. In 2012, he was tapped to host the National College Competition presented by TBS at both Michigan State and the University of Michigan. In 2013, he won the Clean Guy’s Unbleepable Contest, and his stand up clip on text messaging premiered before Dave Coulier’sClean Guys of Comedy movie- which was in over 600 theaters nationwide. 

The Duluth Tribune raved about Beningo’s act, saying “he prides himself in clean material, and is extremely funny.” His energetic act centers around growing up as the middle child, technology,  life as a college student, fast food restaurants, and a short lived career as a middle school teacher. 

Now, Beningo continues to be a touring work horse, performing in some 250 shows a year in corporate events, colleges, theaters and casinos. George Lopez

George Lopez is a multi-talented entertainer whose career encompasses television, film, standup comedy and late-night television. For two seasons, Lopez hosted Lopez Tonight, a late-night television talk show on TBS, which represented Lopez’s return to series television after co-creating, writing, producing and starring in Warner Bros. Television’s groundbreaking hit sitcom George Lopez, which ran for six seasons on ABC. George Lopez remains a hit with viewers in syndication on both broadcast stations and cable’s Nick at Nite, ranking as one of the top-rated shows on the network and among the top five comedies and top 20 weekly programs in syndication. George Lopezis one of only four off-net comedies to post weekly ratings gains among households from the 2007-’08 to 2008-’09 season.

Lopez will return to television in the multi-camera ensemble comedy Saint George in January 2014.  The show will revolve around the chaotic life of a recently divorced working class Mexican-American (Lopez) turned successful entrepreneur.  Starring and co-created by Lopez, Saint George will air on FX and will be produced by Lionsgate Television in a 10/90 deal with Debmar-Mercury.

Lopez most recently released his second memoir, I’m Not Gonna Lie And Other Lies You Tell When You Turn 50, where he tells the unabashed and hilarious truth about aging – as only he can.  In 2012, Lopez debuted his third solo stand-up special It’s Not Me, It’s You on HBO.  Lopez also voiced animated characters in a string of animated blockbuster films  including Thurman in Escape from Planet Earth opposite Jane Lynch and Sofia Vergara, Rafael in Rio, along with Jamie Foxx, Anne Hathaway and Jesse Eisenberg, Grouchy Smurf in The Smurfs 1 and 2, and The Beverly Hills Chihuahua 1, 2, and 3.  His other most recent film credits include the box-office hit Valentine’s Day directed by Garry Marshall,  Swing Vote, Henry Poole Is Here and Balls of Fury.

In August 2009, Lopez filmed his second HBO Comedy Special, Tall, Dark and Chicano, which was nominated for a GRAMMY in the category of Best Comedy Album.  He headlined his first HBO Comedy Special, America’s Mexican, in 2007. Lopez has also performed as part of HBO and TBS’sComic Relief 2006. His acclaimed comedy concert, Why You Crying?, debuted on Showtime in 2004. He released his third standup CD, El Mas Chingon, in 2006, which also earned Lopez a GRAMMY nomination in the category of Best Comedy Album. Prior to that, in 2004, he was nominated for a GRAMMY in the same category for his CD Team Leader. In May 2004, his autobiography, Why You Crying?, entered The New York Times Bestsellers List top 20. The book was co-written by Emmy winning writer and sportscaster Armen Keteyian. Lopez also was the focus of the award-winning documentary Brown is the New Green: George Lopez and the American Dream.

In 2006, Lopez received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. In addition, Time magazine named him one of the 25 Most Influential Hispanics in America, and the Harris Poll named him one of the Top Ten Favorite Television Personalities. Lopez has made more than 200 television comedy, talk show and hosting appearances, including co-hosting the Emmy Awards and twice hosting the Latin GRAMMYs. In 2001, Lopez hosted a major morning radio show in Los Angeles, becoming the first Latino to headline the key morning slot on an English-language station in one of the nation’s top radio markets.

Lopez has received the Manny Mota Foundation Community Spirit Award and was named Honorary Mayor of Los Angeles for his extensive fundraising efforts benefiting earthquake victims in El Salvador and Guatemala. Other honors include an Imagen Vision Award, the Latino Spirit Award and the National Hispanic Media Coalition Impact Award.

The Lopez Foundation, founded by George, was established to create positive, permanent change for underprivileged children and adults confronting challenges in education and health, as well as increasing community awareness about kidney disease, organ donation, and the military. George will be hosting the 7th Annual George Lopez Celebrity Golf Classic on May 5, 2014   which has raised over 2 million dollars to fund The Children’s Summer & Fall Transplant Camps, San Fernando Elementary School Toy Drive, and Military programs. Pat Dixon

Comedian Pat Dixon spends much of his time in New York City when he’s not on the road performing. And while he’s there, he often reads thew news. And being that he’s a comedian, he can’t help but have an opinion on the goings on in the world. And what better outlet for those stories, ripped from the headlines, than the BOB & TOM Show. Steve Rannazzisi

For over 13 years, from the stage to the silver screen, Steve Rannazzisi has made audiences laugh. Currently, Rannazzisi stars and writes alongside Katie Aselton, Mark Duplass, Nick Kroll, Jonathan Lajoie, and Paul Scheer on the critically acclaimed FX Network comedy series, The League, which is produced by Jeff and Jackie Schaffer. Steve plays “Kevin McArthur,” the fantasy football league commissioner on the show, which is now airing its sixth season on Wednesdays at 10:00pm on FXX. 

Rannazzisi emerged on the scene in Los Angeles after leaving a desk job in New York where he grew up. The Long Island native graduated from the State University of New York at Purchase, majoring in Theater and Film. Pursuing his dream, Rannazzisi moved to Los Angeles and began performing at the world-famous Comedy Store on Sunset Blvd. where he honed his skills amongst comedy veterans such as Eddie Griffin, Joe Rogan, and Andrew Dice Clay. He quickly caught the attention of Ashton Kutcher and got his first taste of television as a cast member on MTV’s Punk’d in 2003. 

After his success on Punk’d, he was cast as a series regular on the ABC sitcom, Big Day, opposite Krysten Ritter. Further proving his comedic acting ability, ABC again cast Steve in See Jayne Run, where he costarred Heather Locklear. Rannazzisi has also appeared on Kitchen Confidential alongside Bradley Cooper, Samantha Who? with Christina Applegate and additional shows such as State of Romance, Love Bites, Trust Me, Outsourced and his own web series Daddy Knows Best. 

Along with his flourishing career in television, Rannazzisi is also a prolific standup comedian. His standup has appeared on Comedy Central’s Premium Blend and is featured in the standup special Pauly Shore & Friends. He released his own special in 2013 called Steve Rannazzisi: Manchild which aired on Comedy Central and received 4.5/5 stars on Amazon. He is currently on a national touring circuit and preparing for his next special. 

On the silver screen, Rannazzisi appeared in the 2009 blockbuster comedy smash hit Paul Blart: Mall Cop alongside Kevin James and Jayma Mays. He also appeared in the family comedy, Imagine That,with Eddie Murphy in 2009, and For Your Consideration, a comedy set in the mid-1940s with Catherine O’hara and Eugene Levy.

Costaki Economopoulos

Costaki Economopoulos is a comedian, true, but he’s also a football fan. Those two factors alone make him the perfect candidate to give us a comedic look back at the NFL each week with his new feature that’s also been picked up by The Huffington Post and Bleacher Report. With his Greek heritage, it’s not surprising that he’s been described as a “joke philosopher,” and we’re sure he’s not the only one saying that. Tom Segura

Tom Segura is a comedian originally from Cincinnati, Ohio, though he was raised in too many places to list. His television credits include Conan, Comedy Central Presents (half-hour special), Showtimes’ Russell Peters Presents, and Live at Gotham! When he’s not on tour Tom continues to perform at the top comedy festivals in the world, including Montreal’s Just For Laughs Comedy Festival, The Melbourne International Comedy Festival, The Comedy Festival – Las Vegas, The South Beach Comedy Festival, and The Global Comedy Festival in Vancouver. Cort McCown

Cort McCown is an American actor and comedian.

McCown debuted on the 1985 hit film Teen Wolf with a role as one of Michael J. Fox’s basketball teammates. He followed that with a supporting role as Quint on the 1987 hit teen film Can’t Buy Me Love. In 1989 he had roles in the films Beverly Hills Brats and One Man Force. And 1992 comedy/horror film Auntie Lee’s Meat Pies, with Pat Morita.
McCown has also appeared on television shows like Hunter, JAG, Beverly Hills, 90210, and on the soap opera’s Passions and The Young and Restless. In 2010, he returned to TV with a role on the FX sitcom The League. He recently completed a Feature Film with the Sundance Award Winning Barnes Brothers.

In 2001 McCown began touring as a Stand Up Comedian, opening for acts like Andrew Dice Clay, Harland Williams, and Bobby Lee. He is a regular at Los Angeles clubs The World Famous Comedy Store and Laugh Factory.

In 2003 McCown created The Playboy Comedy Tour that was at The Palms Hotel in Las Vegas for 9 years, winning “Best of Las Vegas” several times. He was also the Morning Show host for Playboy Radio when it debuted on Sirius Satellite Radio.
